OUR DEVOTION
Every prasadam and puja item is prepared following traditional rituals and hygiene standards, ensuring what reaches you is as pure as what is offered at the sanctum.
Pure. Sacred. Authentic. Devoted.
Tradition holds that the sacred idol worshipped at Guruvayur was once installed by Lord Krishna himself at Dwaraka, and was passed down through generations until Dwaraka began to submerge into the sea. It is said that Guru, the preceptor of the celestial beings, and Vayu, the god of wind, were entrusted with rescuing this very idol and consecrating it on earth at a spot chosen for its serenity — a temple that took its name, Guruvayur, from the union of their two names. Since that day, the shrine has been revered as Bhuloka Vaikuntham, "Vaikuntha on Earth," where devotees believe they receive the same darshan once graced upon the Yadava clan in Dwaraka.
